Q: How is tubing mascara different from regular mascara?
Q: How is tubing mascara different from regular mascara?
A: Traditional mascaras coat lashes with pigment, while tubing mascaras create lightweight "tubes" around each lash. This helps reduce smudging, minimizes flaking, and allows for easier removal with warm water.
It goes on smoothly and the brush is nice — it actually separates the lashes as you apply it, which is a bonus. It's a white primer, which I don't mind at all. With my presbyopia, being able to see the white coat means I know I've hit every lash before going in with mascara. It makes you pay attention to what you're doing, in a good way.
I use it daily and haven't noticed any extra breakage or lashes falling out, which was something I worried about. It seems to get along well with my lashes. And I have sensitive eyes — most things sting — and this doesn't. That's kind of a big deal for me.
If you use tubing mascara, I'd say just get this. I haven't found anything else like it."
